Bill and Melinda Gate’s eldest child, Jennifer Gates is going to get married this weekend. It’s going to be an extravagant wedding ceremony which will fit for only 1 percent on her sprawling horse farm located in Westchester County.
Jennifer Gates is 25-year-old and is going to marry 30-year-old fellow equestrian who’s name is Nayel Nassar at the 124 acre North Salem farm, which worths $16 million. In 2018, her billionaire parents bought that for her as soon as she graduated from Stanford University.
Since last few weeks, the workers have been working day and night to build a huge pavilion with floor-to-ceiling windows on the home’s lawn and it somewhat looks like a big semi-circle shaped stage that abuts the structures, aerial images of the property show.
“Everything is being tastefully done, even the port-a-potties are beautifully designed,” an acquaintance of the medical student told the Daily Mail.
“It’s totally over the top. Just incredible extravagance,” an insider added.
The outdoor wedding is expected to attract a large number of high-profile, wealthy A-listers, and the town has been asked to close the road that runs past the property so the guests that are camera-shy can have their “privacy” during the ceremony, according to what a neighbor.
While the event will undoubtedly be remembered by the guests and the couple, neighbors in the sleepy town have been less than pleased with the commotion caused by the last-minute preparations.
Flatbed trucks have been clogging nearby roads, and work crews and forklifts have been seen on the property, according to neighbors.
Jennifer and Nassar got engaged on a ski trip in January 2020, and the wedding has been planned since then.
“SHE SAID YES!! 💍,” Nassar wrote on Instagram shortly after he popped the question.
“I’m feeling like the luckiest (and happiest) man in the world right about now. Jenn, you are everything I could have possibly imagined..and so much more. I can’t wait to keep growing together through this journey called life, and I simply can’t imagine mine without you anymore. Love you more than you can possibly imagine, and thank you for making every single day feel like a dream to me. Here’s to forever!”
